The 30-Hour Broker Office Management course is one of three required components of New Jersey’s 150-hour broker licensing program, along with:

30-Hour Ethics & Agency
90-Hour Basic Broker

Courses may be taken in any order, provided eligibility requirements are met.

Who This Course Is For?

This course is ideal for licensed real estate salespersons want to sit for the NJ Real Estate Broker Licensing exam and who are preparing to step into brokerage leadership and want to develop the operational mindset required to manage agents, oversee compliance, and run a real estate office effectively.

Course Objectives

This course is designed to prepare aspiring real estate brokers to manage real estate agents, teams and offices with structure, accountability and excellence. 

Upon completion of the 30-Hour Broker Office Management course, students will be able to:

✅Understand the role and responsibilities of a managing broker in today’s regulatory environment

✅Apply office policies, procedures, and supervision requirements to support agent performance and compliance

✅Develop systems for brokerage operations, risk management, and recordkeeping

✅Lead agents and teams with professionalism, clarity, and consistency

✅Establish a foundation for running a compliant, sustainable real estate office

IMPORTANT BROKER COURSE DETAILS

REFUND POLICY
$150 of the 90 hour basic broker course registration fee is non-refundable.

$75 of the 30 hour broker office management course registration fee is non-refundable.

$75 of the 30 hour broker ethics/agency course registration fee is non-refundable.

After the 1st scheduled class, all fees are non-refundable. Students are required to confirm if the course fits within their schedule before registering. Students who register for a course, then need to take the course at a later date, have 6 months from initial registration to transfer to a new course schedule with Burgos Realty Academy. A $65 transfer fee will apply. Ask us about or download and review full school policies and NJ state requirements before you register.

COURSE TIME AND EXAMS
Students MUST attend 80% of the 30 hour and 90 hour course class times. After students pass the school final exam, in order to receive a broker real estate license in addition to the other state of New Jersey requirements, students will need to pass and schedule the State of New Jersey Real Estate Broker Licensing Exam.
STUDENT RESPONSIBILITY
Broker candidates must be licensed for 3 years before sitting for the NJ Broker real estate exam. It is the student's responsibility to confirm (before registration) by review of the school policies and state license eligibility requirements if they would be eligible to receive a real estate broker license after they complete the requirements.

It is also the student's responsibility to confirm if this course is required as some broker candidates qualify for waivers through the NJ real estate commission.
