Pathway to Licensure
📋Determine Eligibility
Real Estate Salespersons must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Character: Be of good moral character.
Citizenship: U.S. citizen or legally present in the United States.

🗓️Create a Course Plan
Salesperson candidates can register for the real estate course in various formats. Create a plan that allows balance with your current schedule and upcoming study schedule. Find a blend even if it's a slight stretch and make adjustments where necessary.
We offer the 75 hour real estate salesperson course multiple times through out the year and different course schedules including daytime, evening and weekend.

🏢 75-Hour Pre-Licensing Course
The New Jersey Salesperson Pre-Licensing Program consists of 75 required hours education through an approved real estate school. Students must be present for at least 80% of the required course time.
⚖️ Develop A Cohesive Study Schedule
Once you've selected your course, make room for it. Develop a study plan in addition to your required course hours. Ask your instructor for assistance if needed.
🎓Complete Course & Pass the State Exam
Real Estate Salesperson candidates must participate in 80% of the course and pass the school exam in order to complete the course. After the course is complete, candidates must take and pass the NJ State Real Estate Salesperson exam in order to be eligible to receive a real estate license.
🆔 Background Check & Fingerprints
All Real Estate Salesperson candidates must complete a background check and fingerprinting after they have passed the NJ Real Estate Salesperson exam.
📝 Affiliate and Apply
Affiliate with a Broker and submit salesperson application to the NJ Real Estate Commission through your broker.
