The Academy was founded by Desireé L. Burgos, the global 2x best-selling author of Hey...Future Real Estate Agent and its Pro Planner. Her book was recognized and featured in Inman. She is a licensed multi-state Real Estate Broker-Owner, SVP and COO of Burgos Realty Company®. Additionally, she is a licensed New Jersey Real Estate Instructor and Certified Distance Education Instructor who serves as the President & CEO and Director of Burgos Realty Academy.

Beyond writing books and elevating her real estate businesses, Desireé is a mom of two amazing humans and a wife to her wonderful husband. She also volunteers as President of a Chamber of Commerce and a Board Member on an Educational Excellence Fund. 

Desireé graduated cum laude from Springfield College and holds multiple real estate designations and certifications such as ABR, AHWD, C2EX, CRB, CIPS, PSA, RENE, SRS, and a healthy host of others.

Before real estate, she spent over almost two decades advancing the missions of nonprofit organizations. She brings that elevated energy to designing courses and teaching along with a proven track record of success in operations and organizational management, real estate sales, brokerage leadership, education, and agent development.

Desireé enjoys educating future real estate agents and brokers through complex material and guiding them through the licensing process to achieve their goals. With a unique blend of business development experience, mentorship, and purpose-driven teaching methods, she is deeply committed to strategically elevating others through education and empowerment.
